It was held on on President Lincoln’s 206th birthday, so we celebrated with cake. More than 100 people braved the near-zero cold to hear speaker Amy Elliott Bragg, author of Hidden History of Detroit. Our speaker demonstrated that local history definitely doesn’t have to be dull.
